Leslie Margolin has been instrumental in the rapid growth of the Akido Care medical network. Leslie’s career includes leadership roles in some of the country’s largest healthcare organizations. 

A labor lawyer by training, Leslie served as lead negotiator for Kaiser Permanente in historic interest-based negotiations, which led to an unprecedented 10-year period of labor stability. Her work has been lauded by the U.S. Department of Labor and studied by academic institutions across the nation.

She has dedicated her 30+ year career to pioneering sustainable ways to serve vulnerable populations and has developed a number of landmark partnerships to address system-wide fragmentation impeding US healthcare.

A life-long cyclist and distance runner, Leslie has cycled more than 4,000 miles across North America and has completed multiple marathons, including Boston, New York City and Los Angeles. Her other passions include landscape design, cooking, reading and national and international travel having visited all seven continents.
